Obituary of John Joseph "Jack" Maher.



of 307 N. Pleasant Stl, passed away Monday Feb. 8, 1982, age 52 years. Surviving are his former wife Jean; five sons, John J. Jr. of Jackson, Edward of Texas, Scott of Jackson, Jeff and Mark both of Las Vegas, Nev.; four daughters Mrs. James (Linda) Adams of Wisconsin, Jill (Moore) Maher, Jeannie and Beverly, all of Jackson; two grandson; one granddaughter; his mother Mrs. Mary Whedon of Jackson; four brothers, Ray, Jim and Bill, all of Jackson, Mike of Hanover; two sisters Rita Peters of Detroit, Mary Ann Rainey of Hanover; his dear friend Regina Gauss of Jackson. He was a member of the German American Club and a former remodeling contractor in the Jackson area. Mr. Maher is at the Chas. J. Burden and Son Funeral Home, 1806 E. Michigan Ave. Services will be held at St. Johns Catholic Church, Friday 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Johns Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
